Three-day teacher workshop organized at DAV Hardwar




News 127. A three-day workshop for teachers is going on at DAV Centenary Public School, Jagjeetpur, from 20th to 22nd June 2024. Teachers from DAV schools across Uttarakhand and Uttar Pradesh are participating, focusing on subjects such as Science (primary, secondary, and higher secondary levels), Physics, Chemistry, and Biology (higher secondary level).

These workshops are a regular feature in DAV schools, where master trainers trained by the DAV Managing Committee, New Delhi, at their Center of Academic Excellence, impart training to teachers from various DAV schools. Under the guidance of the Asst. Regional Officer of DAV Schools, Shri Anand S Saraswat, similar workshops are being organized in other DAV schools in the region.

Mr. Manoj Kumar Kapil, Principal of DAV, Jagjeetpur, Haridwar, inaugurated the workshop today, 20th June 2024, by lighting the lamp. He welcomed the participating teachers and expressed gratitude to the Asst. Regional Officer, Shri Anand S Saraswat, for his support in organizing the event. He emphasized the importance of keeping teachers updated with new educational methodologies to ensure quality education for the students. The workshop features master trainers including Mr. Deepak Soni, Ms. Navdeep Kaur Chhabra, Mrs. Indu Lohani, Mrs. Sangeeta Aggarwal, Mr. Shubham Agrahari, Mr. Nikhil Gera, Mr. Hasan Kamal, Mr. Pradeep Kumar Mishra, and Mr. Rajiv Kumar, who are actively involved in training the teachers.

Fifteen teachers from DAV Hardwar are participating in the workshop which is being organised at DAV Babrala, and GAIL DAV Auraiya.
Program coordinators, Mrs. Kusum Bala Tyagi and Ms. Hemlata Pandey, & CBP Coordinator Mrs. Pratibha Sharma mentioned that teachers from seven schools including DAV Kanpur, Babrala, Auraiya, Amethi, and Hardwar are attending this training program. Accommodation and food arrangements have been made for all participants at DAV School, Hardwar
