Free medicap camp as part of Glucoma week




Haridwar : As part of observation of international Glucoma week, National Human Rights Protection society organized a free medical checkbup  camp with the team of doctors from Pilot Baba hospital and Rishikul Ayurvedic college in Indira Basti in Sarvmangla Ayurved bhawan. The camp concluded with over 250 patients  getting their health check up done.

In a bid to give assistance to the poor people who cannot get their regular body check-ups done on account of financial constraints, a camp was held in Indira Basti in haridwar industrial area. The vital body parameters like blood pressure, blood sugar, ECG and other tests were held for the visitors of the nearby colonies by a team of doctors led by Dr Bharat Sethi and Dr. Saloni Garg.

The national president of Human rights protection society, Madhusudan Arya said that in future more such camps shall be held in other residential colonies of the district.

Social worker Dr Vishal Garg said that it was necessary to get one’s body vital parameters checked every six months even if there was no symptom diagnosed. “The rising tendency of Blood pressure and glucose level in sugar can be monitored with such health check up camps which the poorer section of people generally ignore. This can save them from many forthcoming ailments of body and lead a healthy life.” he added. Kamla Joshi said that most of the women patients were marked with anaemic problems for which they were advised to take iron rich foods and a syrup for 15 days.
