Chennai based company Gofrugal  dupes Patanjali Ayurved Ltd of crores

A software making company based in Chennai has duped Patanjali Ayurved Limited of Yog Guru Baba Ramdev of 2.25 crores. It is alleged that the PAL has incurred losses to the tune of 15 crores till date on account of delay in software implementation by the company.
Irked by the mall intentions of the software company PAL has lodged complaint at Bahadrabad police station against director and Chief marketing officer of the company for act of forgery, deception, wrong modus operandi and extortion of money by wrong means. Police is mulling over registering the case soon.
On Tuesday a complaint was lodged by General Manager of Patanjali Ayurved Limited, Kavibdra Singh, village Padartha Laksar at Bahadrabad police station stating that Patanjali Ayurved Ltd had made an MoU with the Chennai based software company demanding a software for its Megastores, Chikitsalayas, super distributors across the country. Following a meeting on 18 July 2018 an Mou propsal  was sent by Gofrugal Technologies Limited company number 11 Narayan Complex Sarathy Nagar Vijay Nagar in Velachery district of Chennai on 6 Aug 2018.
Under the MoU it was fixed that the software company would make and install software which was duly signed on 23rd August for an amount of 2 crore rupees. It is learnt that on 29 August two advance payments of 50 lakh each were made following which the software company promised to begin its work but the company started making delays in making the application available to the distributors across the country. When Patanjali group questioned on the same,  the software company started demanding extra money.
On 28 November the company demanded 1 crore extra to complete the work. On January 2 2019  amount of 25 lakhs.  50 lakhs on January 4 and 50 lakhs on February 8 were paid by PAL to Gofrugal making a total of 2 crores 25 lakhs.
It is further alleged in the complaint that on 16January 2019  four crores extra was demanded through email.  The Patanjali group hired extra managers and made arrangements thus incurring a loss of 15 crores till date.
It is alleged that under conspiracy, the  Chennai based company with its director Kumar Vembu and chief marketing officer Vijay Hinge duped Patanjali Ayurved ltd.  Police has begun the verification process and very soon FIR shall be lodged.
